Rockabye, is a body of work that endeavors to open up a world rather than close it. Its goal is not to explain experience but to describe it - to practice seeing rather than looking. In the subtle moments when we search for meaning, it is to embrace the absurdity of life as a contradiction that cannot be reconciled. The world will always be much richer than our ability to understand it. This body of work is a personal exercise in seeing, toward an acceptance of the absurd life.

"If we are open to the particular possibility that text and image can be thought of and experienced as openness, then we may relinquish mastery over the world as subject, and hear the work of art speak."
